Eating and Exercising

My OBGYN said that the S.outh B.each Diet is the best diet for infertility. I have some pounds to lose and hereditary high cholesterol, so I'm giving it a shot! This is where I will post my food and exercise log for the week. I'm nerdy and enjoy reading about what other people are eating, so if you're like me you will probably enjoy this!



Week of Monday, May 2 - Sunday, May 8
-Waiting on my first BFP or BFN, so trying to keep my heart rate down

Monday:
Yoplait fruit smoothie pack, Blueberry Pomegranate, made with 1% milk
Low fat string cheese and 15 plain almonds
Turkey, cheese and lettuce rollups, baby carrots and roasted red pepper hummus
Celery with light Laughing Cow cheese, Garlic & Herb flavor
Cannelinni bean and sausage soup with tomatoes and basil
Jello sugar free chocolate pudding cup
Exercise: 35 minutes incline walking, lat pulldowns, front raise/reverse fly combo, front raises

Tuesday:
One egg, scrambled with Canadian bacon, two slices turkey bacon
Low fat string cheese and 15 plain almonds
Cannelinni bean and sausage soup with tomatoes and basil
Turkey taco meat with black beans, light sour cream, salsa, lettuce and reduced fat cheese
Exercise: 20 minutes elliptical (HARD to keep my heart rate down!), seated leg extension machine, standing shoulder press, sumo squats, reverse lunges, incline chest press, side lateral raises, horizontal pullups

Wednesday:
One egg, scrambled with Canadian bacon, two slices turkey bacon
Low fat string cheese and 15 plain almonds
Turkey taco meat with light sour cream, reduced fat cheese and salsa
Celery with spinach dip
Grilled sirloin steak, steamed broccoli with salt, pepper and parmesan cheese
Exercise: 40 minute brisk walk outside on the hills by work

Thursday:
One egg, scrambled with Canadian bacon, two slices turkey bacon
Low fat string cheese and 15 plain almonds
Turkey taco meat with light sour cream, reduced fat cheese and salsa
Celery with spinach dip
Turkey breast and steamed green beans
Decaf skinny caramel macchiato
Exercise: 5 min. reclining bike warmup, walking lunges, seated shoulder press, sumo squats, front raise/reverse fly combo, seated row machine, side lunges, bicep curls, straight body crunches.

Friday:
Egg McMuffin (just ate the middle and not the bread), 2 slices turkey bacon
Low fat string cheese and 15 plain almonds
Grilled sirloin steak, steamed broccoli with salt, pepper and parmesan cheese
Celery with guacamole
Gluten free chicken and parmesan meatballs, tomato vodka sauce, spinach salad
Exercise: None! Day off! Unless you call sprinting for an emergency at work exercise.
